PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Construction Technology is a program that will provide students with the skills related to building and maintaining wood and brick structures including; carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, energy efficiency, and blueprints and site layout.

REAL-LIFE WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Install roofing materials, exterior windows, siding and trim, drywall, and doors and trim.
  • Install footings and foundations, prick and block, estimate and pour concrete.
  • Install residential electrical wiring
  • Install insulation, venting applications, and identify “green” construction technology.
  • Learn to read blueprints terms, symbols, and abbreviations.

CAREER FOCUS

Upon graduation, students will be prepared for entry level positions or may choose to continue their education at a post-secondary school.
